Thank you for another great review! I’m enjoying all of them and appreciate the exposure to all these titles. It sounds like this book was definitely pre-Me Too Movement. Not that Dragos assaults her, but it sounds like there is less explicit consent. That’s so important nowadays.
Oh that is such an interesting connection to draw, between when this book was published and the MeToo movement. Hmm. I don't think there are any consent issues in this book. Dragos is very assertive, but Pia's desire is always front and center. She wants to be with him in every scene where intimacy is present.
But, I do think Dragos doesn't hold a candle to more recent MMCs in the seduction department. These days ladies need more than a billionaire with hot vibes.
I read a different book recently that definitely had consent issues. The story was good, but I haven't been sure if I should review it given the way their first sex scene happens. She isn't raped (I won't review those books), but her "consent" is definitely coerced. My inclination has been to not review that book, just because I find that first sex scene problematic and I don't like to write negative things.
I love image 1. Those eyes! 🔥

Ah, ok. Got it. :)
I definitely understand wanting to be careful & discerning when choosing what to review. Thanks!
